Thunderbolt connectivity with Audio interface

What's up Hackers, I am looking at updating my computer soon to a motherboard with thunderbolt. I am an audio engineer and producer and I will also be upgrading my interface to a very expensive thunderbolt type.

Anyone have any experience with using thunderbolt on a hackintosh? Anyone use one with an audio interface? Just want to make sure it'll work before I drop several thousand dollars.

I don't see why it wouldn't but I know a lot of people on here probably do audio and video work as I do.
