They have gone the way of the floppy disk drive, not found in modern cases. You would have to do some creative case modding to make some 5.25" or 3.5" drive bays. Thermaltake could have easily put two of them in the front of the case.Where are the 5.25" slots?
They didn't because liquid cooling is the current "cool" thing to do. Many people put 280 or 360mm rads in the front part of the case, making front drive bays nothing more than an eyesore. The younger generation scoff at the use of optical drives due to the lower cost and higher speed and storage capacities of USB flash drives.
