This is a great deal at $45 at newegg.com Just the two included 140 mm Riing LED fans are worth about 30-40 dollars.

Large enough to enable many different liquid cooling configurations. Build quality is excellent. Helps keep your build under budget without having to go "cheap" on the case that holds all your expensive components.

Look at all the cable management room. Rubber grommets too. This is normally a $120 case.

If you want a front panel with ventilation so your front fans do better than have a look at the G21 model. It stays much cooler when you remove the magnetic dust filter behind the front panel of the case.

Or you can rip off that bulky plastic and just leave the front of the frame with the dust screen (if it has one). That is what I did with my Corsair case. o_O Helps me keep it clean also, because out of sight out of mind but with the front plate off I see the dust swirls and clean them off. I have found much less dust inside the case because of it. But for $45 bucks it is a steal.

When you add up the cost of the glass panels, fans, steel etc. you're probably getting it wholesale, or slightly below cost.

I'm wondering how Apple's new 2019 MP will deal with the dust. Those will pull lots of air through the case and there are zero filters. Wonder what trick they are using. Maybe they just don't even worry about dust as with the iMac line ?

I did a search of Newegg for mid-tower ATX cases in the 30-50 price range. The results give you many off-brand low quality cases. Lot's of RGB gimmicks in the front and thin low quality steel.

Yes, despite my preference for Lian Li cases, I have built a couple in cheap tin for budget prices, hoping to spend more on components. But the cheap cases have crossed threads, poor plastic and sharp edges. Steer clear - you know it makes sense - and a good case is actually an investment.

The case featured looks good value.

As for MacPro dust - perhaps the cheese-grater chops dust into molecular powder and fires it out an exhaust for extra oomph! ;) That sounds like "Apple" innovation doesn't it? :)

Or else they expect new MP owners to operate them in "clean rooms" with Hepa filtered air and pure oxygen pumped into the climate controlled room.

A friend gave me his MP 5,1 that was almost dead. Inside it was choked with dust!

He'd also tried to upgrade to 10.14 without a compatible GPU. He said it was acting funny and would barely work, so he bought a new iMac. I pulled out his 1 HDD inside it and put it into a USB 3.0 external enclosure for him to keep his data safe, and, he gave me the computer for free. I hope to revive it, in some form, when I get the time.

I don't think Apple cares about dust filters. I have had many Macs, taken many apart and never heard of such a thing. I think my laptops have had dust filters but the were only accessible once the MacBook Pro was opened.

I was surprised when I saw dust forming on the OUTSIDE of my $40 Diablotek Hackintosh case.

BTW, @trs96 on these cases above, where do I put my 5.25" optical drive and my sata hot swap 3.5" HDD bay? Where are the 5.25" slots?
