has anyone successfully tried a zotac z68 board?

i am going to get an i5 2500k and id like to oc it properly.

i couldnt find any information on the ethernet/audio chip.

gigabyte has announced a z68 miniitx board, but i dont really want to wait.

thanks in advance :)

Keep us posted on how you get on with this build as I am also looking into building 2 x mini's for my kids this xmas. I will be buying the parts as i can afford them and don't wont to build a doorstop.

The posting seems to indicate they cancelled their P67-based motherboard in favor of a Z68 one. However they aren't listing a Z68 one yet :(

"As of August 5th, my contact at Gigabyte says they cancelled their Z68 Mini-ITX motherboard project. They are not sure if they will fire it back up again either.

However, their new A75 platform mini-ITX board should be out soon."

i dont know if that guy says the truth, but that would be very bad news indeed.

so, one more reason to reask: has anyone tried the zotac z68 mini itx board?
i just got an e-mail response from zotac and they say that audio and ethernet chips are form realtek - they dont know which one, but they will aks in hongkong (reply will take 3-4 days).

could we please stick to the topic, gents? a mATX mobo is not considered mini nowadays.... ;)

Until the HDMI Audio don't work, I think he wouldn't post.
