Monitor goes to power saving mode at log in. Mountain loin, dell optiplex 760 with gt630

Hi all,

My Dell Optiplex 760 with nvidia gt 630 cannot detect monitors.
It boots up file but as soon as log in screen loads the monitor goes to power saving mode as it cannot detect signal.
I can remote in and everything is fine. When i installed gt520 it worked, but i need that card in my other system and i cant source gt520 anymore.
I have installed various kext and packages with no luck. searched google high and low. i havent seen this problem yet.

So what im asking,
1)is there any way to get my graphics card to work.
2)when new kext are installed do they over ride other kexts for the same device?
3)is there any way of removing kexts.

here is some info. all help appreciated.
