- Also you said replace voodoo battery with the other one but voodoo battery works and displays my battery but the new one just stays at 0%
- and i think im trying to install the patches wrong, if i click open and browsing the apply button doesn't activate but if i select something from the left menu it loos like i can apply them.
You need the DSDT patches to make the battery manager work correctly (actually, it makes the DSDT work correctly on OS X).
To apply a patch:
- open your DSDT
- click Patch
- select a patch from my repo (ex. "HP Spectre XP" for battery
- click Apply
- click Close
- click Save As, /Extra/dsdt.aml, format: ACPI Machine Language Binary
