Still no WiFi but strangely I can get the Bluetooth working.

Just about all motherboard manufacturers use Intel wireless chipset which is not supported in macOS. Unfortunately, no one has written a driver for the Intel wireless chipset in macOS. Consequently, most users replace the Intel WiFi/BT card with a iMac Broadcom WiFi/BT card (+ an adapter card). A Fenvi FV-T919 PCIe card.

ow OK didn't know that in macOS it was Broadcom and not Intel, that explains a lot actually. Sorry, didn't come across about that fact.

Hi all - I'm about to attempt an upgrade of this Hackintosh to Mojave. In prep for this I've replaced the GTX-1060 with a AMD RX-580. Very painless - see the edit at the end of the original post.

Just noticed that the front USB ports aren't working since the upgrade to 10.14.5. I've tried this - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/mojave-10-14-5-port-limit-removal-patch.277166/ but still no luck. Anyone else got this to work?
