Worked for me. HD4000 dvi gives me funky graphics at startup until I unplugg and re-insert the cable (maybe a hdcp issue?) worked fine before installing network and audio.


My specs are GA-H77-DS3H with Core i5 3570K w. HD4000, 8gb mushkin blackline RAM

Just installed Mountain Lion in my new box.
CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1230 V2
MB: Gigabyte H77 DS3H
RAM: Kingston ddr3 4Gx2
Graphics: ATI 4830

I have very close to the same configuration as you, but I can't get this install to start. It has a kernel panic immediately after booting to the USB. What bios version are you using?

I have the Core i5 3570K processor with HD4000 graphics and installation was smooth, maybe your graphics card is not compatible enough. The guide recommends using onboard graphics for installing then adding a graphics card.
