Just installed Mountain Lion in my new box.
CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1230 V2
MB: Gigabyte H77 DS3H
RAM: Kingston ddr3 4Gx2
Graphics: ATI 4830

Only ACHI setting is changed in BIOS.
But still fighting with audio card and graphics card.
Installed multi-beast, but don't know which drivers are for DS3H's audio card and ATI 4830.
I am going to change the graphics card to NV GT520, I heard this one can work without hacking, hope so.

Another strange thing, my windows 7 (on another hard disk) stop working! I saw the blue screen of win7 for the first time!
Just telling me can't find boot section. Any idea?

And does anyone know which is the kext for DS3H's audio card?

where you able to get the USB 3 ports to work???
Audio is a pain in the behind to get working on this boards... so I opted for a 5€ usb card that works perfect...
regarding Graphics, the HD 6870 works like a charm, although I get a white screen in the installation of ML, but after that everything works perfect...

NVidia Card works with pre-release Drivers

After many days of toil and many install methods and options, stumble upon a clue as the cause by a post on the net. I replaced the NVIDIA Kexts with pre-release Kexts (DP3) ... and Vola ... instant success! Full native acceleration and mult-monitor suupport oob.

I did not get a chance to check if USB 3.0 work or not. I managed to boot once by using my old 4830 graphics card, but not perfect. Now I am looking for a solution of graphics. I will check USB 3.0 later, and keep you posted.

Update:
After reading urlord's post, boot Mountain Lion successfully.
Graphics card changed to Zotec GT520 with 2G memory.
Network, audio and video work pretty fine.
USB 3.0 is supported by doing nothing, at least in "System Report", but I did not test it since I don't have USB 3.0 device right now.

Another thing is, my cpu is really powerful, actually it is an i7 cpu with i5's price, just without HD4000.

I think you need configurate ACHI in Windows 7 - (With Regedit) Search in Google

Success semi-half , install ML on GA H77M-D3H CPU i5 3450 , ATI HD5450 , SSD Kingston 60gb ,DDr3 4GB 1600.Sound is mision impossible to install .

Regarding sound install voodoo hda from PKG. from google source code and find the applehdadisable.kext run with kext beast.... sound works great probably better then realtek vanilla....


USB 3.0 are an other issue I'm having please help
