Thanks for your share. I have the same build, just EVO 850 Pro and GTX 760 4GB. Your guide helped me tremendously!

Thank you,

20140831_201832.jpg20140831_202159.jpgDoes anyone have issue of sound not coming back after wake up from sleep? I have almost the same components but GTX 670, 16GB Patriot Viper 3 1866 and a 39" 4k TV/Monitor from Seiki which I am running at 3200 x 1800.

I fixed the sound issue by getting a $9.97 USB sound card from Fry's and disable onboard sound card. Now I am a very happy Hackintosh owner.

Thanks for sharing!

Was this issue just trying to get any sound out of it? I'm trying to get around this and the "fix" hasn't fixed it for me. Has the usb sound card allowed you to get audio from it without any issues? Just plug it in and listen?

Yes, I am using 2.1 speakers system which connect to the green port from this USB sound card. It just plug & play thing. Highly recommended!

Awesome! I think I will grab one then, tired of dealing with trying to get it going. All I have for my audio setup is an aux cable running from the machine to my stereo and out through two stereo speakers that sit on my desk.

What kind of sound issue did you have?

Another thing that I would recommend is using a USB 3.0 Wifi 802.11AC from EnGenius which I connected to my Airport Extreme at 867 Mbps speed constantly.

This is not Plug & Play, but you can easily go to their website and download a Mac driver for this USB and it works beautifully.

It costs me $39.99 with $10 rebate which is not so bad.

I got the recommended PCI-E Network Card so I am set with that. The sound issue is weird, I originally had sound from the headphones after doing one major install of all the "drivers" and then after deciding to try and do it again as I noticed I had no onboard sound I went through loading the two audio drivers and ended up loosing front panel...Not sure what happened. But I just want sound back haha.
