My specs :

1-Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2V-B3 (Rev1.1) is the same hardware as GA-H61M-D2-B3 (Rev1.1)(D : All solid capacitor design)
2-Core i3-2100 ( intel 2000 hd not working with me)
3-NOW i own ATi PowerColor 5450 HD 512MB (WORKING QE/CL WITH FULL RES/VGA/DVI/HDMI)
4-2*2GB Kingston 1333MHz
5-WD Blue Caviar 500GB

Bios settings:

i used the default settings for this motherboard and added to them
+ IDE>>AHCI
+ HEPT 64


How:

::Note:: it's recommended to install fresh lion than upgrading from snowleopard.

::Notes::
1. for network i used Realtek Gigabit Ethernet 2.0.6 not Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet because Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx make conflict with my wireless driver.

2. you will get kernel panic when you enter lion without rboot so you have to write At Chimera Boot Screen GraphicsEnabler=No because ati card and audio (with HDMI) aren't installed yet.

3. to install audio you have to use this options in multibeast:
+ system utilities
+ Audio
> Realtek ALC8xx
>> ALC8xxHDA
>>> AppleHDA Rollback

2-Now it's time to install ATi 5450 HD :[Native]
======================================
Add your Device ID to ATi5000controller.kext and ATiReadeonx3000.kext.
(GO to System/Library/Extensions then find one of the above Kexts and show package contents then Contents then add you dev id to info.plist under <key>IOPCIMatch</key> mine is 0x68F91002 ).
Change GraphicsEnabler to Yes.
Delete all ati config and injectors if found.
Don't use patched DSDT.
Working in booth 32/64 bit and VGA.
BOOOM fully recognized ati 5450 512mb and working frame buffer (working dvd player & powerpoint )

3-Working Wireless PCI-e Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN781N (802.11n, 150Mb/s):

Install this kext to System/Library/Extensions LINK>> New Kext http://download1078.mediafire.com/deh1ho1xmxeg/x4pwdtg342d4l1y/IO80211Family.kext.rar
Repair permission through kext utility
Reboot
::Note:: Fully working with Realtek Gigabit Ethernet 2.0.6 in Lion and SnowLeopard also.


4-Sleep - General Troubleshooting Tips :
================================

1. You must have the proper DSDT edits as per this post. All of the Gigabyte DSDTs in the DSDT Database are edited properly for sleep.

2. To enable sleep, make sure to remove NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

3. Make sure you check all of the checkboxes in System Preferences/Energy Saver as shown in the picture below.

4. Make sure your DSDT is named DSDT.aml and found in /Extra folder.

SO after all that what about Intel 2000 HD !?
actually i asked alot of people in this forum and insanely mac
me:what about intel 2000HD?
MacManx86:Chimera has the code for the HD2000 but OS X does not support it. So until Apple supports it or someone comes up with a hacked driver it won't work.




##KEEP THIS IN MIND##

1. Make sure that you have the latest Bios ver with proper DSDT.
2. I suppose you to make additional 20GB partition and backup your installed Mac to it through backup programs so you can test/modify any thing you want and if you bricked your mac you can fix what you have done. [ like CARBON Copy Cloner LINK>>>>http://www.bombich.com/software/download_ccc.php ]
3. After waking up from sleep all connected usb storages ejected by it self .
4. When using a DSDT you need to remove (if found in extra folder):
EvOreboot.kext
LegacyAppleRTC.kext
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
Also, make sure the the DSDT is named DSDT.aml in /Extra.(MacManx86)

TESTS (say your opinion about these numbers):

with chimera 1.4.1 and ATi 4670 HD (owned before)

with chimera 1.5.4 and ATi 5450 HD

I have same specs without ATi 4670 512mb. Now I only can run 10.6.7 and no luck with 10.6.8 and Lion.

I tried many solutions but only got KP with 10.6.8 or can't start installer partition for with Lion(auto restart or stuck at grey apple logo).

Are there any stories that installed successfullly Lion with GA-H61M-S2V with intel HD 2000 (no separate card) ?

6-Intel 2000 HD isn't supported by OS X 10.6.7/8 and will not boot up and may cause KP.

Intel 2000 hd will not work with lion although 3000 hd is working.
until now even with new chimera 1.5 tony said that " Intel 2000 hd didn't work" and if it works, it will not work properly as 3000 hd due to little difference in hardware and software, so don't wait a lot and grab cheap working vga like EVGA GeForce 240 , SAPPHIRE 4670 both of them will work out of box (with lion,Snow 10.6.6/7/8) and no need to pre setup any thing.

Thank you very much for your advice. I will buy a new working VGA and give up Lion with 2000.
By the way, HD 2000 still work well with SL 10.6.7.

First of all I would like thanks for posting this...

In this post, you are using ATI 5450 HD graphics card..is it manufactured by Gigabyte?.. Currently in India I didn't find the gigabyte manufactured graphics card to buy...So i am planning to buy ASUS ATI 5450 HD graphics card..will it work??

I am planning to my powercolor hd5450 1gb card..will it work ?

And my mother board is GA-H61M-D2-B3(rev 1.0)..will it work or do u want me to buy the GA-H61M-D2-B3(rev 1.1) board?

in hardware (audio,lan,io chips) there is no difference
so if you follow these instructions you will not face any problem.
powercolor will work perfectly with lion and snow leopard
