INTRO:
I will start this off by saying this isn't the first time I've done this. About 6 months ago when I ordered my new motherboard and cpu I decided to give it a go and put OS X Yosemite on it. At the time it worked well however the was just a test and i put it on an old 40GB 7,200 RPM drive I had laying around. Shortly after Getting all the sound issues worked out I got it successfully up and running.
