[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

Nothing like owning a 2,500 dollar paperweight :(. I feel like not supporting all 6900XTs is even more glaring than 6700 because I literally bought the card on the advertising. update notes said 6900XT not "some 6900XT", they didn't say 6700 :(
Big Sur 11.5 public beta 1 should be out later today or more likely tomorrow. We'll see which new NAVI device IDs, if any, are introduced.

11.4.5? Or 11.5?

Man that was quick, I guess they do need to get these last betas out so the new Biggest Sur can launch in a month or so.
WWDC 2021 starts in 19 days so the successor to Big Sur will be announced, but not released until the fall -- about 4 months from now. There are rumors of one more Intel-based Mac update so without speculating any further I'll just hope that it involves some of the parts we're struggling with...i.e. Rocket Lake iGPU, Maple Ridge Thunderbolt (want to see Apple's own firmware in the hopes of modifying ours), NAVI 22/23, etc..

Yes I know the Vegas casinos are betting on a Mac Pro update instead of another Intel 27" iMac refresh -- which means no Rocket Lake stuff -- but let's not make any assumptions. (Given the atrocious power consumption of Rocket Lake I doubt Apple would use it, but who knows.)

UPDATE: MacOS 12.0 Public Beta 1, however, could be out sometime in June.

Installed the 11.5 Beta, looks like there is no Navi22 drivers still..
Correct.

Navi 22 device IDs are still present in AMDRadeonX6000Framebuffer.kext, so the glass is still half full. We should always remember that there’s no guarantee; there’s only hope...
