iMac17,1 doesn't work with TV Plus app since it only shows black screen.

Strange. It works on my Hack with iGPU, I have tested it...........
WAIT!!!!!!!! I thought the black screen in Apple TV is the issue with my Subscription, but when I tested it on my iPad Pro - it worked.

So the issue is with video card! Ridiculous!

P.S.: trailer worked for me. atv videos - no

Welcome to Hackinosh world. :)

I haven't tested it without the RX video card but I'm not intersted in using iGPU since it has problems with sleep/wake.

You can switch it to iMacPro1,1 and it will work with TV Plus app. One guy here on this forum said iMacPro1,1 works very well with Z170 including sleep/wake and its the same type motherboards which we have.

No. It doesn't work on iGPU. I tested. Only trailers.

What are cons of switching to that SystemId - iMacPro1,1?
Theoretical question - what is System ID influence on Hack? I mean - what does it do with the Hack?

None that I know of.

System definition tells macOS the motheboard hardware specs it should use. If hackintosh is not similar enough then it will experience kernel panics, reboots or some stuff will not work. All mac models have different specs so that's why they have system definitions for better performance and stability. Motherboard manufacturers don't produce drivers for macOS so that's why we have to find which motherboard that have similar hardware specs for macs. Not all motherboards will work out of the box and some will require serious SSDT patches like laptops.

GFX0 to iGPU is already included in WhateverGreen so you can delete that line.
If you disable iGPU in BIOS then enable PEGP to GFX0.

Recently there is a problem with AppleALC causing reboots after waking from sleep. AppleALC is a patch for onboard audio and iGPU audio. There's two solutions to this:

1) Remove AppleALC if you're using audio thru RX DP/HDMI
2) Add 'No-hda-gfx' to Boot -> Arguments to disable iGPU audio

AppleALC doesn't have anything to do with RX video card so I removed AppleALC, disabled onboard audio and disabled iGPU since my monitor have built-in speakers and audio jack. It's all good and no reboots.

Strange. I switched to PEG in BIOS. System passes to graphics switching mode and that's it. I see SSD led is blinking, the monitor shows just black screen. Switched back to iGPU as primary

If you disable iGPU in BIOS then enable PEGP to GFX0.

I disabled it during boot in Clover menu

Did I miss something?

iMacPro1,1 is very stable, faster boot-up time since its not searching for iGPU, no issues with sleep/wake and TV Plus app works great.

This is my general settings since I have done 4 hackintosh computers.

1. If your system has VT-d, enable it
2. If your system has Virtualization, enable it
3. If your system has CFG-Lock, disable it
4. If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it
5. If your system has IOAPIC 24-119, disable it
6. If your system has Serial/Parallel Port, disable it
7. If your system has XHCI Handoff, enable it
8. If your system has Keyboard and Mouse Simulation, disable it
9. If your system has Power on by PCI - E/PCI, disable it
10. If your system has PCI Express Native Power Management, disable it
11. If your system has ASPM, disable all
12. If your system has USB Keyboard and Mouse simulator, disable it
13. If your system has Primary Display, select PEG
14. If your system has iGPU Multi-Monitor, disable it
15. If your system has HD Audio Controller, disable it
16. Set OS Type to Other OS

Strange. I can't get to MacOS. So my PEG(MSI RX 560 ITX) works in Clover, even when MacOS boots it shows debug but when it switches to graphical mode - it's just black, monitor shows signal is ok, HDD leds are blinking, if I try to enter my password HDD leds continue blinking because of login, BIOS settings are the same as yours

Maybe lack of some ACPI patches is the issue? Because PEG seems to be fully compatible and it shown in the list of graphic adapters

P.S.: hmmm! It seems I got well known "black screen" issue...

@remington can you share your Graphics section, plz

Hmmmmm! Here amd-graphics-cards is mentioned that I need RadeonDeinit. Maybe it's the issue

P.P.S: tried RadeonDeinit=true. Didn't help
