Still waiting for root device for Alienware 15 R2

After install those kexts inS/L/E, the boot stunk again and showing:
  • IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm0x0

This is two link I look into
I think the second link is more likely to work in my case because the first one is for Nvidia.
I tried to set all fakeID to 0x0 excluding the IntelGFX.
But I still stunk in verbose again
  • busy timeout[3]. (60s)
  • IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm0x0
  • FakePCIID result

your 3rd party kexts belong in /Library/Extensions not /System/Library/Extensions

  1. I used rm -rf in /S/L/E to romove BrcmPatchRAM2, BrcmRepo, lilu and whatevergreen kext from /System/Library/Extensions
  2. Then I install the kexts to /Library/Extensions by paste and authenticate in Finder
  3. Remove the 3rd party kexts from Clover/kexts/other
But I am still stuck at verbose mode, just a different line, and repeated three times
  • FakePCIID: [14e4:43b1] configRead32 address space(0x003c0000, 0xbc) result 0x10110042

you still need your essential kexts in clover/kexts/other as well
