SSDT for Asus Z370-I

[XDAN]

Bleeding edge - I found no difference between the preinstalled and the current version in perspective of incompatibilities and stability. My system is always on / If I'm AFK in sleep mode.

As you can see inside the Log - everything is clean.

My hint to you guys is.

• Keep it simple!
  Plan Do Check Act!
• Try to solve only one issue and not all at the same time
  If you do not know what you are doing - It will confuse you
• Create a SSDT that suits - Its very simple try to understand my guide.
  Key is, to understand what USB ports do you need! It depends to the PC case you use
  IMHO If the SSDT is set up correctly it can be applied for any PC case within the same Mainboard
  The USB port numbering will be the same / Check my post and you will understand what I mean
• Avoid try and error with to many parameters and settings
• Do not follow endless threads, most of them include a lot of nonsense
• Load only the KEXes that are needed
• Review the Clover-Boot-Log
• Read before you change and know what the settings will do
• If everything is working as expected stop modify anything

I got an i7-9700 and I realized that with that set up it is better to use iMacPro1,1 whereas while using the i7-8700 it is better using iMac 18,3. Different hardware makes difference in the set up.

In my theory, you can copy over my complete EFI. ( Check the BIOS Settings also)

The only thing that is maybe not working with your setup is

• WLAN. You'll get one for cheap from Ali. / Or did you related the card already?
• iMessage, You must follow the iMessage guide to set up a valid system serial and id etc.

I have a NZXT i200 Case - With two USB ports on top of the case next to the power button. This can also be different to your setup.

I also have issues to unlock my HackT. with my iWatch. I know it's very convenient but I'd stopped to troubleshot this functionality. Within my experience, as long you do not change the serial, the system id etc. all apple services will work. Sometimes you need to reauthenticate the device when you fiddling around the configuration.

I assume that you use the USBInjectAll.kext, right? Disable the Kex. and place my ssdt to
/Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/ssdt-usbx.aml
and give a try and verify the boot log that you can pull out from the clover configurator.

At the end of the day a custom ssdt will limit the USB port number to 15 AND you will choose which USB Ports will work or not. It's like masking out the unused physical / logical USB Ports. One thing is to keep in mind! Do not mask out the USB port that uses your Mainboard for Bluetooth and WLAN. The rest is upon your personal taste or requirement to wire up your
peripherals. Review my table Post #1 It's really not that complicated to create a custom ssdt if needed.
