[Solved] "Your computer was restarted because of a problem" on every start up

F11 clears it out of NVRAM so if it is returning each time that you boot then you may well have a real problem as opposed to a spurious old one stored in NVRAM.

To check look at the problem report and where it says "System uptime in nanoseconds" make a note of the value.
If it changes with each boot then it is a real problem.
If it stays the same each time then it is old stored in NVRAM.

Thank you again. After three reboots + a shutdown to be sure, it looks like this problem is gone. The only thing I've done differently since my last post in this thread is to clean up a bunch of old/erroneous kexts and to put my kexts in the right spot per @jaymonkey's 3rd party kexts guide. Excellent help all-around. Thank you, gentlemen!

Hello there,
I have a similar issue, when I click on shutdown, it reboot and display the "Your computer reboot because of a problem" I tried what's said in this thread but no results.
I'm on Catalina with a Gigabyte Z390 Designare + i7 9700K.
When I click on shutdown, there's some line appearing, you can see them on the picture.

EDIT : I fixed it, it seems that Z390, especially from Gigabyte have some issues with AptioMemoryFix-64.efi so I removed it and everything went fine.

What should I do。。。
I tried some actions to fix it, but always cause me to re-install the Mac OS again and again. lol, crazy.....
 
I had this problem too.
sudo nvram -c did not solved this problem for me

F11 at clover choice boot :)

But Nvidia Web Drivers for are disabled ...
Setup to use NWD then reboot
goes in bios remove overclocking
restart
NWD are disabled ... again with the message "your computer restarted because of a problem bla bla bla"
Setup to use NWD then rebbot

Return to bios overclok then High Sierra run fine :)

For information this problem was after a security update and install the last version of NWD

Hello Guys, I am using Asus Prime Z390-P mobo and I am running Catalina 10.15.5, everything is working just fine since my last build (4 months ago) but suddenly 3 days ago when I wanted to install Big Sur 11.3.2 via a clean USB install using Open Core, an annoying stuff has come and I couldn't resolve it even when I googled it.

The thing is that before every boot when Apple is loading I receive a first message (on screenshot) and after the system is logging in I always receive bugging messages that tell :

"your computer restarted because of a problem".

I understood that the problem may be came from the nvram to be cleared, I tried terminal commands "sudo nvram -c" to clear, I tried the CMOS reset and battery rejection for 5min but no solution worked for me.

Here is what it is written when I click "Report".

I'll really appreciate your help if anyone can gives me a suitable solution once for all.
