[SOLVED] VoodooHDA wont load up

Dearest Tonymacx86 forum

First time caller here, before I unload my woe I want to thank you all for your hardwork in building this community, pretty outstanding work has gone into this.

Now onto my woe!

I had a crash on a shut down and since then I am unable to load up VoodooHdaSettingsLoad.

The only message I get in the Systems Log is:

13:34:05 VoodooHdaSettingsLoader: Couldn't load settings file (file opening problem not here, or read protected

I have reinstalled it an no avail, checked the github code base:

and it stated (line 235) that I need something in my: ~/Library/Preferences/VoodooHDA.settings

Not knowing what it should contain I did a simple "touch" to see if it would through a different error (I Aleister Crowleyed it afterwards --777 -- to make sure permissions were sufficient

Please could I get some assistance!

Okay some how fixed this! Not sure what I was doing and highly possible it was newbie error.

Not sure how one "closes" this thread as resolved?

It would have been a good idea if you shared your solution. I'm running into the same issue at this moment.
