I am little busy at the moment. I will post a reply here with steps when I get a break. In your posted image I saw Apple TV. Don't you have any other Speaker system attached to the Audio port at the back of your Computer?
Do you have any Headset connected to Front Audio ports?
Please be specific with details of the device make and model used as a Speaker or Microphone for output and input audio devices.
I don't have any audio system other than my headphones at the moment. I've tried my headphones (Sony MDR-7506) in the front audio port, and the back audio port, but nothing. The "Apple TV" that you see is just the Apple TV hooked up to my TV upstairs, in my living room.

  • Next prompts are all basically Yes(Y) ENTER
  • Finally you will be asked to Save the output as a text file for your record and then Reboot which you follow.
  • Check :Apple>About This Mac>System Report...> Hardware>Audio and take. a screen shot ( for your record/upload to Forum)

Very hard to diagnose. It has something to do with NetBIOS. No kexts are mentioned in the backtrace to incriminate any specific hardware.
  • You can run a Memtest86+ to find any defective RAM :Download MemTest now
  • The test can take hours to complete.
  • All test OK means RAM OK
  • To install this 3rd party software you may have to first run the following Terminal command and enter your password.
  • Terminal> sudo spctl --assess --master-disable [ENTER/Return] , type pass word on prompt> no output will be seen on terminal. The command is to permit you to install that software.
  • Next you can install downloaded MemTest and wait till completed.
  • Then Launch Terminal
  • Type the following command to start memory test:
$ memtest all 2 [ENTER] after "memtest" a space after "all" a space .
