Hey Guys, I've performed a fresh install of El Capitan on the ssd drive and everything works fine except the nvidia web drivers that keep reverting to OS X default drivers. Here's what I've done so far.
-I edited the clover config.plis manually to add enable nvidia web drivers in system preference section.
-I installed intelgraphicsfixup and lilu kext in /Library/Extensions
-I confirmed I have the latest driver with is 346.03.15f16
-I confirmed the system see the computer as an iMac 17.1 retina display

I did a lot of reading but nothing seems to work, would anybody have another idea I could try?

No support for Pascal graphics until mid way through Sierra.

okay, could I just upgrade from the app store or do I need to recreate another usb installer with sierra on it?
It is possible to upgrade from the app store.
Make sure that any kexts are up to date and Clover may need an update too.

Also, could there have an incompatibility between the latest clover and El Capitan? Earlier today I installed clover v2.4k r4586 and I could not get to the apple logo.
There could be but it is more likely something that you did or didn't do - Who knows ?
