[solved] Slow Disk speed SATA help

hello, it just accured to me that my harddrive is really slow. I used black magic design test and it said I only get about 50mbps write and 50 mbps read.
I took this my drive from an old laptop I had ( not too old ) so its not new or anything but it might be failing? or maybe there is a hackintosh tip I missed about harddrives?got any recommendations? thanks

Compare with performance in Windows.
For an older, likely 5400rpm HDD that's not too far off expectations.

oh dang you're right. sorry tested It out and kinda panicked a bit. got a average of about 65-70mps now. maybe because I plugged in my laptop to charge but still I was just bugging out. that my average seems about right regardless. is their a way to delete this thread?
