I have 3 monitors currently with my GTX 660, I just received my GTX 1080 Founders Edition and I'm going to test it out.How many monitors do you have? I am looking into purchase a 1080 for a hackintosh build, but I feel that the os will not be able to support 3 monitors. I know the GPU can though. Can you help me out?
I am pretty sure it will not work with the GTX 1080, but I do have an 8x8 matrix switcher, so I am planning on leaving the GTX 660 in the hackintosh along with the 1080. So basically my inputs 1,2,3 will be connected to the GTX660 and inputs 4,5,6 will be connected to the GTX1080 for when I want to game in windows.
Hope fully I wont have a problem with using two cards, I will keep everyone posted though.
My Specs:
i7 5820K
Gigabyte GA-X99-Ultra Gaming
1 TB Samsung Evo OSX El Capitan
1 TB Samsung Evo Windows
GTX660
Currently everything works, sound, lan, sleep, speedstep, sound resume from sleep all on 10.11.5
