[solved] No drives visible on Sierra Installer

I'm using @RehabMan 's config_HD4000_1600x900.plist to startup my DV7 Envy 7000 series. I only get as far as the installer. No drives appear in the disk utility.

What am I doing wrong? I tried the SATA fix in clover, but that did nothing. Any ideas?

What do you see in Disk Utility?

0:101  0:000  PCI (00|00:1F.02) : 8086 282A class=010400

Change to AHCI or read relevant part of the guide:

By the way that same config boots into Yosemite just fine. However, I can't see any drives with Sierra.
