Hello everyone,

Just got my new build (reference below) and joined this wonderful community.

Build:

CPU: Intel i5 8400
Mobo: Asrock Z370 pro4
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050Ti

As I said, I just got my new build and I am planning to load macOS on it with your help. On my first try, I followed the standard guide and everything went smoothly until the very end. After I waited for about 1.5 hour for High Sierra to install, I rebooted to complete the installation but I got this message:

"macOS could not be installed on your computer” or “The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged"

Is there any workaround for this? On your proposals please be as thorough as possible with how to because I am new to this and definitions like Clover and flags are kinda hard to fully grasp. Or if you have any guide available, point me to this. I am good in problem-solving and very familiar with Linux and the terminal so I am not afraid of using it.

Thank you in advance

Hi,

I have the exact same problem :(

Just for clarification, I solved the problem by creating the USB again from cli following this official guide.
