Hi,

I'm hoping to get some help from Rehabman, but will take it from anyone.

I have an x270 that is working almost perfectly (with sleep). I'm using rehabman's config.plist with a few patches for battery and brightness. I also created an SSDT for usbinject which solved most of my issues.

The last thing I did was install applebrightnessinjector.kext with patches and now if I put the laptop to sleep, it will reboot approximately 5 to 10 minutes later. So close!!! Please help me get rid of the reboots while sleeping.

Please give me a clue on how to fix this minor issue.

If I can get this working, I'll create one of those tutorials for the x270 to give back to the community.

Thank you.

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete (no EFI/Clover attached).
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/
Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Hi,

Sorry about that. Please see the attached, proper file.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you.

I removed abm_firstpolldelay and it might have removed the reboot. I think there's some weird interaction between abm_firstpolldelay, trim and brightness. Maybe the PNOT/PPNT fix too.

What do you think Rehabman?

More troubleshooting...

So, I switched over to using the x270's internal nvram, which produced this error when rebooting when sleeping:

Can you try enabling fixRTC in your config.plist

What do you think Rehabman?

You should NOT be applying the PNOT/PPNT patch.

Thanks guys.

Trying
fixRTC in config.plist
removing the PNOT patch - Rehabman, do you know what the PNOT patch does?

Hi guys,

Still getting the reboot during sleep.

I'm thinking it's related to the NVME report I've been getting?? Message posted above.

Is there a kext for NVME devices that are not made by apple?

removing the PNOT patch - Rehabman, do you know what the PNOT patch does?

You can easily see what the patch does by reading it, or by looking at the Preview in MaciASL.
Your hardware does not require use of the PNOT patch.
