If I use your tutorial it won't boot at all it just shows a gray -> black -> gray -> black screen and goes back to Boot menu

Did you set DVMT-prealloc to 64mb?

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

The guide contains instructions for installing Clover, config.plist, kexts, drivers64UEFI.

You will not be able to boot to Clover if you don't install it to the EFI partition.
