I don't need to reflash bios, just shutdown, unplug all cables and hold power for approx 30 secs, works fine after that. Until it gets corrupt again.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Do not forget to refresh ACPI/origin by pressing F4/Fn+F4 in Clover...

Hi,
Removed ACPIBatteryManager.kext + patch, same fault.
If booted in with Power Supply (Mac OS), charging works until unplug Power Supply, it also bricks win10 charging.
My conclusion is that somehow charging is sw controlled. There is a 3rd wire on Power Supply that delivers data?...

Once ACPIBatteryManager.kext + patch is removed reboot and rebuild kext cache then shutdown and do hard reset holding power for approx 30secs. battery should then be unaffected in windows. At least in my experience.

Still no problem reporting files attached...

I've tried everything, nothing helps, I even did a DTDS with ACP1 & BT0 removed still same fault...

Read post #34, and post #31.

Hi,
As soon as DC plug is plugged or unplugged something corrupts and charging stops working, same as before. Reset CMOS fixes it until next time. (if plugged before starting Mac OS charging works, if started without DC adapter and plugged after OS is loaded it does not charge)

What I have noticed is that when plugging it in it displays fully charged, I need to debug it...
Any tip on tools and how, I was looking for Batterydebug but can't find it...

Exactly the same issue with my hp omen 17. I gave up, debugging it was beyond me. Hope you solve ''our' problem.

I'm taking a BIG break, this is a odd fault. At least I can now use it without destroying CMOS, I deleted a lot in the EC section.
This means there is no battery info :(
