I'm a bloody beginner :(,
I've set up my Hackintosh with
Gigabyte GA-Z270N-WIFI Mainboard
EVGA GTX 1060 graphics card
- after setup I installed the nvidia web drivers, correct version for OSX 10.12.6
- I've checked the entry in config.plist, there was an entry "NvidiaWeb" but I can't activate the drivers, after reboot the OS X default driver is ticked
Has anybody an idea what I make wrong?

Be sure the nvram has key nvda_drv 1 !!!
Without that, even rigth clover settings, web driver will not load.
for check : terminal, nvram -p
You can set that by Nvidia Web Driver pre pane (set to nvidia web driver).
But: Your nvram must!!! work - means after reboot must hold the nvda_drv 1 setting (by working mainboard nvram, like my GA Z77 board OR by that emu....efi clover plus installed rc scripts by clover.

Setup emulated NVRAM to store the nvda_drv=1 boot flag in boot-args.
See Problem 6 of Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems
Install EmuVariableUefi-64 + RC Scripts
I've inserted nvda_drv=1, install EmuVariableUefi-64 + RC Scripts and after reboot without the USB, I see an apple and after the half progress bar I get a black screen with an information "no signal"

What System Definition do you use?

BIOS - Disable Integrated Graphics - PEG as Primary
Use a digital connection to your monitor - VGA is not supported.
Boot with nv_disable=1
Install Nvidia Web Drivers
Config.plist - Do not inject Intel or Nvidia graphics and no ig-platform-id
Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link
May need to emulate NVRAM - Problem 6 (Install EmuVariableUefi-64 + RC Scripts)
Remove nv_disable=1 from config.plist
MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition need black screen fix as per Link

iMac 14,2
I've switched BIOS - from automatic to disabled
I'm using the DisplayPort as digital connection
I've started from scratch, using unibeast.
Started from USB stick, installed OS X to sierra disk, create an admin user, using multibeast to install audio driver and set the NVIDIA Web Drivers Boot Flag
Using Clover EFI V2.4k r4268 to install EmuVariableUefi-64 + RC Scripts
config.plist: set key>NVidia = False and no nv_disable parameter found
reboot
and it works great!!! thx!!!!

oh sh... I've loosing my ethernet connection

according to the Gigabyte internet site it is the:
  • Dual Intel® GbE LAN with cFosSpeed Internet Accelerator Software
could somebody tell me, what's the best driver?
