i have the same issue now with 10.11

Hello, I'm also having the same issue...
the hackintosh enters in sleep mode but when i try to wake it up the monitor doesn't get any signal...

Did someone solved this?

Same issue here - has anyone got a fix?

Hi, I had the same problem and I solved it, In the BIOS you must set Mac Os X as your boot priority #1, I disabled the rest just in case. I hope it works for you

i am facing the same issue with sierra 10.12

seems like the problem persist and no solution till now :(

For my case, I am using Asus Hero Alpha motherboard and the onbord display Intel HD530. I notice this a few times, and when powering up my build, BIOS will complain about Overclocking failed (Which I did not).

I resort to set the power setting in El Capitan to only sleep the display and not the whole computer. I know that this doesn't really gives us much power saving, but this way, it feels like I am at least not hurting my computer by doing hard reset everytime this happen.
