It will be on the drive where you are installing macOS on.

Boot in verbose mode and take a picture of where it gets stuck.

Hi pastrychef. I am not able to boot from the HDD. I copied the EFI folder from the UniBeast USB to the HDD, and that fixed it. But now I can no longer mount the right EFI folder so I can continue my post install set up. I've tried every disk option in EFI mounter. I opened the Terminal and did a diskutil list and disk0 looks like the right option, but still, no clover folder.

Here is the terminal diskutil list:

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk0

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1

2: Apple_APFS Container disk4 1.0 TB disk0s2

/dev/disk1 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk1

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk1s1

2: Apple_HFS Hackintosh Clone 999.2 GB disk1s2

3: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk1s3

/dev/disk2 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk2

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk2s1

2: Apple_HFS Extra Drive 999.9 GB disk2s2

/dev/disk3 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk3

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk3s1

2: Microsoft Reserved 16.8 MB disk3s2

3: Microsoft Basic Data 1.0 TB disk3s3

4: Windows Recovery 477.1 MB disk3s4

/dev/disk4 (synthesized):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: APFS Container Scheme - +1.0 TB disk4

Physical Store disk0s2

1: APFS Volume Hackintosh 12.6 GB disk4s1

2: APFS Volume Preboot 57.8 MB disk4s2

3: APFS Volume Recovery 1.5 GB disk4s3

4: APFS Volume VM 20.5 KB disk4s4

Yes, disk0s1 is the EFI partition for your APFS macOS. If there's no Clover there, just install it. Or copy your working EFI folder to it.

I did copy the EFI folder from the UniBeast USB there, and I do see the Clover Boot Manager on the HDD when I start the computer. I also installed this clover. But still, I can not find the clover folder when mounting any disk. I was able to earlier today, that's how I was able to copy the EFI folder from the USB. But now I can not find it.
