SMBios 19.x - iMacs 2019

Did you select Mac OS Install from Clover boot menu?
 
  1. Select Recovery Drive.
  2. At the Recovery Menu select reinstall Mac OS, select you drive.
  3. When then system reboot you will see Mac OS Install, Mac OS Mojave and Recovery, YOU SELECT Mac OS INSTALL.
  4. It will be done when you will see only Mac OS and Recovery Drive
 
First you select recovery driver then reinstall Mac OS, after reboot select Mac OS Install from Clover boot menu.

Please confirm the steps:
  1. Apply -no_compat_check boot argument
  2. Change SMBIOS model to 19,1 (DGPU)
  3. Reboot into Recovery, make sure wifi works
  4. Install from Recovery
  5. Reboot, reinstall OSX

4.Reinstall from Recovery
5.Reboot, select Mac OS Install Drive and wait to finish


Edit : At step 5 Don't select Preboot Install or Preboot, just Mac OS Install.

I would just like to add Changed my SM 9,2 rebooted a few times, went to the App Store searched for Mojave clicked the Get link. Left the system be went to dinner came back and it was updated to the correct version and the campat check could be removed.
 
This worked great. Power management seems a lot better on 19,1 for my setup than 18,3 too. The only thing I can't get past is itunes DRM with a headless UHD630.

I updated the other day to 19,2 it broke DRM for me also. Today I remember reading about people using RX580 with dummy kext and disabled IGPU on iMac Pro SM so I tried it today I found the post here:


post like 68 is where I got the Kext

I have both hardware encoding/decoding and I have iTunes DRM.

Please also note that I did an update after setting to 19,2 to have it load the correct special version of the OS.
