Hello everyone,
I am having trouble accessing and browsing a SMB share in Mavericks. I actually connect via CIFS since it is a recommended fix on numerous forums but both SMB and CIFS give the same result.
I am able to connect to the share but as soon as I start browsing it, everything slows down to a crawl and I get a spinning wheel of death. I then have to relaunch Finder several times or reboot to get access to Finder again.
I am able to access and browse the share with no problem from my roommates Macbook Air (running Mavericks as well). It even is snappy as hell.
Not sure where to start to troubleshoot this and I thought you guys might be able to point me in the right direction.
Cheers !
Tom
