Slow boot and audio problem

Hi,

after I install OS X 10.10, internet, and everything works perfectly. But I must boot from flash, and after I boot from flash, I set boot OS X... I have 2x 120GB Samsung SSD on RAID0 and the boot time is 30-45 second... Before I install OS X, I had Windows 8.1 and boot time is 5-10 second. Is it normal? So, now my main problem... I have a Creative Sound Blaster Z with Sony STR-DB830 QS linked with optical cable. But no sound. Slider for sound i grey and not working... Where is the problem?

Have you installed your sound kext? That is necessary for sound to work. What was your method of install? If you can tell me, I could help you with your slow boot time.

Yes, sound driver I installed...
I installed OS X from USB, and Sata 3rd driver with Multibeast too installed.

Which audio codec do you have on your motherboard? Which kext did you install? If it's VoodooHDA, your problem is this because it's extremely unreliable.

I own Asus P8Z77-V LX2, but audio from this motherboard is bull****...
