Sleep is Not working on My hacintosh PC ?!!?

Without BIOS patching you have to use nullcpupowermanagement and you will never get the sleep working using that kext.
Download the latest BIOS file from asus website, zip it and attach it on the below thread and request samisnake to patch it.

Once you get the patched BIOS file flash the BIOS. boot back into OSX install SSDT for i5 cpu available in multibeast and you should be able to boot without AppleCPUPowermamangement issue.

now i got modified Asus P8H61-M LX3 R2, and install,
What to do after that???...

Hello,
I have issue of boot showing
ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin: :start - waitForService(resourcesMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowe rManagement) timed out

I have installed all DSDT, aml,SSDT, plist, files are include in extra folder,
all installed kext smc,fake smc, ssdt i5, etc,
all is working except sleep...
So, can any body helps me to fix sleep, step by step...
Please... its a big request..


Processor: intel i5 2310
Mobo: Asus P8h61-M lx3
Ram: Corsair 8gb vengence 1600mhz
GPU: Ati 6870 1gb.

To get sleep working, you need to remove the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

BUT, before you can safely remove the kext, you need to flash a modified BIOS.

After flashing the modified BIOS, go to the folder /System/Library/Extensions and drag NullCPUPowerManagement.kext to the Trash and give your password.

i have modified bios and installed also,
Null cpu is not installed...

is that ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin: :start - waitForService(resourcesMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowe rManagement) timed out
Problem, caused due to ssdt,
is my ssdt steps wrong?
HElp...:(

Take the easy road and download/install JustSleep. Works like a charm!

Mandeep, UEFI BIOS can run without a DSDT file have you tried DSDT free installation?

from which guide instruction should i follow for fix acpi smc power management??,
i have dsdt files in extra forlder..
