My system will not sleep after upgrading to Sierra (10.12.x) It will power off monitor, the HDD runs for a bit, HDD shuts down, then it makes an attempt at powering down but doesn't. Case fans continue to run. At this point I can't wake it without a reboot.
I've tried every Darkwake setting possible in Clover (latest version), and nothing seems to make a difference always the same behavior. The screen will sleep and wake on it's own, and HDDs will spin down and back up without sleep.
I've tried disabling the Atheros onboard NIC. Removed the eSata drive and USB wifi with no change in behavior. Sleep worked prior to El Capitan for sure.
How do I go about troubleshooting (I've tried a number of "fixes" from here in the forums) the issue? Are there logs I can check? Everything else with the system works great. It would be nice to sleep though.
