Sierra on Celeron Processor G540 IPXSB-DM

I'm having issues reaching the OSX installer on my recycled PC. I have followed the instructions to make the USB drive for Sierr but getting the IODisplayWranger error when running verbose mode. Safe mode doesn't work. Messing about with some of the switches doesn't either. All help welcome. Hardware details are below:

Compaq CQ2815EA
Celeron G540 Processor 2.1GHz
Motherboard IPXSB-DM
4GB Ram
