Sharing connection

Hello guys!

Does anyone know how to share a internet connection between a linux (mandriva or VM Ubuntu 12) and osx 10.8.2?

This is what I'm trying to do:

My linux connects to the internet via wlan0, and I want to share it to the mac via eth0.

Any clues?

Hi,

essentially you would need to set up NAT'ing via IPtables from eth0 to wlan0 - which can be a pain in the ass if you're not used to it. I would recommend you to install a Gateway distribution like IPfire in a virtualized environment (virtualbox) and assign the wlan card as the external and eth0 as the internal card.
