Screen won't turn on

I don't know why but sometimes the hack screen turns off while I'm using it. Tried some temporary solutions but didn't last long. Does somebody have a way to permanently solve it?

While you're using it? Sounds like a hardware problem with the display itself. Do you dual boot into Windows? If so does it work or do the same thing? You could try turning off display sleep in system prefs but I doubt that is the issue.

I had a client with an LCD screen last year that would only last a few minutes before turning itself off. A new display corrected the problem so it was probably a PSU problem with the display. Too expensive to repair compared to a new unit.
