Despite the fact that AMD has a hold on the next generation gaming consoles, there are rumors that NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 graphics card are about to be released in a few weeks, around May 23rd. These new GPUs support DirectX 12, even though the latest version of Windows only supports up to DirectX 11, and there were rumors floating that Windows 8.1 will not have a new version of DirectX, meaning no version 12. There also was recent news on scaled down versions of Titan graphics cards which the GTX 780 might be.
What's more important is that they are based off Kepler GK110 which is what the current Geforce Titan graphics cards contain. Netkas has reported that Titans work with the next Mountain Lion update, so the GTX 780 may also be supported.

Reminder: Please don't discuss unreleased versions of OS X as it is against forum rules. I included a link to Netkas's blog since he reported that it is running back in April.
