I don't think that would be the end of Hackintosh, per se, as long as the mobo/cpu combinations were hackable. But if true this isn't good news. I'm skeptical. Seems like a large market share to simply lose? Why not create socket versions with pins of the same CPUs and sell them at a higher cost?
