Realtek ALC 892 No sound after sleep [10.9.2]

I had the same problem when I went from Mavericks 10.9.3 to 10.9.4. Tried all sorts of solutions to no avail. Tried Multibeast 6.3 and 6.4 without success. Last night I tried audio only in Multibeast 6.1 and I'm glad to report it fixed it for me. Thank you for the solution!

I dont know whether this solution is isolated or not. Anyways dont want to start an arguement. Repairing/Fixing disk permissions solved my problem. Now audio works perfectly. Try that. It doesnt cost you anything.

Audio was reset, but the volume controls on the Apple Keyboard no longer work.

As others have noted, a full restart solves the problem...

I can't find Reset AppleHDA v1.3 anywhere. I can't fix no audio after sleep issue with 6.1.0 or 6.2.2 MB appleHDA.ketx. where did you find it?

Hello - Can anyone advise on the solution if you are running clover rather than Multibeast. The scripts works to a point but clover patches the Kext, and I don't know how to do that as part of a script.
