Latest beta 18E205e work fine with both RX460 and RX570, only green artifact issue when exporting H264, others OK.

Still get freeze sometimes, especially run encoding or decoding after wake from sleep, RX 570

No freeze issue for me, everything normal on 18E205e, no HEVC encoding improvement on RX460, speed same as 18E194d, but RX570 has almost 20 fps faster on DaVinci.

Now update to 18E215a, for RX570, HEVC transcoding speed fall back to 18E194d, others OK, so far so good.

Using iMacPro1,1 properties (copying the properties from iMacPro1,1 and paste as iMac15,1) I have no freezes and the green artifacts are gone (they was replaced by glitches).

Hi, Do you disable iGpu in Bios? How fast H.264 render works? And what glitches do you have right now? Good hack.

Work fine for me with SMBIOS iMacPro1,1, faster HEVC transcoding on DaVinci.

Ummm, those CPU frequencies seem a tad high for Hardware transcoding?

Good day! What exactly did you do to remove green artifacts and freezes. What properties did you copy? Can you give me your EFI folder and config. All the accelerations work for me, but there are hangs and there are green artifacts in the converted video.

Good day! Help me please. I do get green artifacts and freezes. The whole system works well, but after rendering the video there are green artifacts. Sometimes the computer completely freezes. I use the dummy and iMacPro1.1 as written. But what else can I do. How to adjust the config to recover from these problems! System Z370 i7-8700 Radeon 580 Now I have the latest beta 10.14.4 (18E215a)

Ummm, those CPU frequencies seem a tad high for Hardware transcoding?

Depended on Apps and CPU PM control, previously attached png is base on XCPM + frequency vector control (standard off set for 3.9 GHz), frequency slightly lower than XCPM control, IA power consumption reduce to 13W (XCPM round 18W), HEVC transcoding speed round 157 fps, 17 fps faster than 18E109d and 18E215a.

If use Clover HWP + HWPEnabler.kext for CPU PM control, IA power consumption will further reduce to 11W, but transcoding speed will be dropped, round 140 fps.

Edit: HEVC transcoding result on Compressor, CPU frequency/utilisation is low but video quality not as good as DaVinci or FCPX output.

For RX570 on 18E205e, H264 transcoding speed slightly faster than HEVC, on DaVinci round 165 fps, FCPX round 150 fps and compressor round 160 fps, still have green artifacts issue, no big deal for me, mainly use HEVC for transcoding.
