Thanks. I followed his installation instructions ( I installed his kext to /S/E and the daemon to /usr/bin, as well as the plist to the proper place), but I am having the same problem. Did I do something wrong?

Thanks again for helping me out.

Make sure you removed other PS2 kexts per the instructions...

To verify:
Code:
kextstat|grep -y ps2

Yup, can verify they are removed ( double checked in Kext wizard ). Could it have to do with the fact that I am using a self created fusion drive? I mean, it is installed to /S/L/E, which shouldn't be a problem. It isn't suppose to be installed to /E/E is it?

More likely some issue with initializing the ps2 port...

Install the debug version and look for clues in system.log.

So...I installed the debug version, and now everything seems to work fine! I am not sure what is different, but I am happy. Thanks!

That's weird. Could be a timing issue... If you go back to the Release version does it stop working?

Update: It only worked on one reboot last night. This morning it KP'ed without booting verbose. Here is my system log:

You might try removing VoodooPS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext since you don't have a trackpad connected to your system.

But it appears your PS2 port simply doesn't work on cold boot... Nothing the kext can do about that.

Also, see post #4 for verification you installed it correctly.
