Why not try to boot with boot arg="keepsyms=1"?

Guys, if all your drivers are in place and you still get the "Couldn't allocate runtime area" error - you might want to check out my post here. It has to do with enabling above 4G decoding as another user (tagged in the thread) suggested.

Cc: @BoomR @pastrychef @Stork @RehabMan - is there any way this information can be integrated into a relevant sticky - I think it's key for getting past this error assuming everything else is resolved.
