Hi Everyone,

upgraded my machine today from mavericks to Yosemite. I'm using a LG 21:9 monitor with a native resolution of 2560x1080. Under mavericks I used GraphicsEnabler=yes, IGPEnabler=yes and IGPlatformID=0A260000 as well as Graphics mode = 2560x1080x32 in Boot.plist

This setup worked fine under mavericks but under Yosemite I'm getting really bad performance. The HD4600 is recognized, but the available memory is displayed with 10 MB only in the system report! Also with these settings I'm having problems with logging in: the first login loads forever after entering my password. Currently I'm waiting for the machine to go to sleep. After waking up and entering the password again the login and switch to the desktop works instantly!

I've tried various combinations of IGPlatformID, IGPDeviceID and also GraphicsEnabler yes/no without success.

Do you have any ideas what else I can try to get 2560x1080 to work?

My system:
Gigabyte Z87N wifi
i7 4790k
HD4600

Thanks in advance

EDIT:

When omitting the IGPlatformID und IGPDeviceID from the Boot.plist the system starts normally (without the login troubles) and also the HD4600 is recognized with a maximum VRAM of 1536MB! But the resolution is then limited to 1920x1080 even if "Graphics Mode" is "2560x1080x32"
