Post your SSD benchmarks using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

If you Google "V300 SSDNow nand switching" you'll find out why. Those read and write speeds
are slower than a current Seagate / WD 1 TB mechanical HDD. Even if it only cost 45-50 dollars it's only about 1/10th of the storage of a 1 TB HDD for the same price. :confused:

On Windows, i have 400-450mb/s average speed.. :rolleyes:
 
So to confirm - you a) boot into WIN b) populate the RAM drive with OSX and then c) re-boot the machine?

No. I use a Hackintosh. At first I boot into Yosemite and then copy the virtual machine to the ramdisk. It's pretty quick. It takes around 15 seconds from my PCIE SSD to DDR4 ram disk, the speed is around 1GB/s. Then I start the virtual machine. Before I shutdown the virtual machine, I backup the virtual machine from the ram disk to my PCIE SSD.
