My loyal Z77-DS3H Daily Driver Desktop i built back in 2013. Running 10.12.6 seen every version of OS X from 10.8.2. Pretty impressed with the score.

System: Intel NUC, Kaby Lake - i7
Memory: 32 GB
GPU: External GeForce 980 Ti, connected with Thunderbolt 3

Wow. That's really great performance from an i7-3770. My HP Elite 8300 with same CPU can't even hit 14K in multi-core... I guess that's the difference between Z77 vs Q77...

It all depends on what hardware you have. Z77 Chipset is native & Native Powermanagement is also implemented. Recommend checking wether AppleLPC is loaded or not.

I checked and AppleLPC is not loaded, only LPCB.

I think the system is just considerably slower than your Z77 system. I ran Geekbench 4.1.1 in Windows and got scores slightly less than what I got in macOS.

These are mine currently (the profile is now an 18,3, but the processing score really hasn't changed):

Force AppleLPC to load by Spoofing then try Geekbench. Make sure Native CPU Powermanagment is implemented.
