ah okay, i'll try both. i have a question though it looks as though without the safe mode command it kind of hangs ups a bit on this screen

and then kernel panics shortly after when it gets passed it, which never used to happen before its like it never gets to loads any of the startup extensions? Whereas before it used to load them but it would get to the pci configuration begins error..

the frustration is killing me! lol

I'm just a Beginner so I don't know much except for personal issues I had during install. However where your Hanging up is where I would also hang when I had all 16gig of memory installed. Try and cut down to 4gigs or less just for install with the -x option. Then pop the memory in after your in OS X.

I have never seen this being an issue in Mountain Lion. Only Snow Leopard.




Try npci=0x3000 and npci=0x2000 with PCIRootUID=0 - Then PCIRootUID=1
