Ah.. I'm not a Prime member so I can't even test it...

OK - still have the transparent window. Methinks I have the 'rename' stuff a little confusticated...

I have PEGP->GFX0 (for the nVidia card), and GFX0->IGPU (for the onboard graphics). In IORegistry Explorer I see those two get overlapped. So, the onboard graphics & the nVidia card are running into each other.

How do I avoid this?

I shifted the order of the renames and it seems that part is straight - still have a transparent window. What would be helpful to look at this issue?

In your BIOS, do you have the HD 530 set to primary?

Also, try setting GFX0->IGPU to be higher in the order than PEGP->GFX0.

Edit:

You figured out the ordering before I finished typing. Lol

Make sure that ig-platform-id is "0x19120000".

I have as ig-platform-id as "0x19120001" (as per Quick Sync). I have IGFX as Primary in BIOS (though I can no longer see boot process).

iBooks still has transparent window.

Attached is IORegistryExplorer output & config.plist from Clover.

Use "0x19120000" for iBooks.

Set BIOS like this:

I would also like to get iBooks working but I'm really unsure of the steps to take for enabling HD530 via MultiBeast. Do I need to "load" a config and add HD530 to it or create a new one with only the HD530 selected?

0x19120000 works for iBooks!!!

Also, BOTH graphics options show up in System Profiler! AND, the Intel IGPU is correctly identified as the 630! Amazing!

Amazon still reports HDCP issues... only a minor annoyance...

iTunes HDCP 'stuff' is just fine (so the dual-card didn't break that).

*sigh* - still can't get Sword Coast Legends to play. The intro video(s) are fine, but the actual gaming, no joy - all blocky color. Got a pointer to a possible solution?

Now to update my build...

Thanks @pastrychef !!!

Here's the setting in MultiBeast:

This will add the settings to enable the HD 530 on your config.plist.

Please keep in mind that I only tested this successfully on BIOS 2202!!
