Please try this EFI.
Remember to enable IGPU in BIOS. Bluepr0 has stated that he hand random crashes with his AMD 5700 XT installed when IGPU is disabled.
5700 XT is still very new and drivers are still a bit immature.
If you have IGPU disabled and you are using iMac19,1, the only way to get it to show that H.264 and HEVC are working is if you are using NoVpaJpeg.kext which disables hardware acceleration.
Hey @pastrychef can you help me out?
I can't get rid of my external USB2 audio interface stuttering issue. The most common solution I found online is to use a bios function that bumps the voltage on USB3 a tiny bit but the Asus Z370-G Strix doesn't have such an option.
I think my only viable solution is to enable one of the USB2 Ports in the back IO and sacrifice one of the USB3's but counting them to remain under the 15 port max confuses the heck out of me, can you tell me what i need to remove and add to my UIA_Exclude?
I have the following USB config:
(BTW I have more internal active ports than usual because I use a script to control my Kraken X62 water cooler colors, pump and fan speeds.)
Have you tried using the USB 3.1 gen 2 ports in the rear? They are the red ones.
I'll test the 3.1 gen2 port for a while, (the audio stuttering only happens occasionally) if it doesn't help I'll try changing the uia_exclude as you suggested, thanks so much for helping out.If you want to enable one of the USB 2 ports and disable one of the USB 3 ports, you can try the following:
This will enable HS09 and disable USB 2 functionality of the USB 3 port next to it (directly below the PS/2 port). However, USB 3 functionality should remain on that USB 3 port.
